Following the explosion incident at Shahid Rajaee Port, the Petrochemical Terminals and Storage Company expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and announced its readiness to support container loading and unloading operations at Pars Petrochemical Port in Assaluyeh.
Hojjat Mobarzi, CEO of the company, stated in an official letter to the Production Control Department of the National Petrochemical Company that, given the proximity of Pars Port to Shahid Rajaee Port and the availability of specialized equipment and skilled personnel, the company is fully prepared to step in and facilitate emergency operations.
Pars Petrochemical Port, with a draft of 15 meters and advanced equipment such as gantry cranes, reach stackers, and specialized trucks, is capable of providing 24/7 port services. These capabilities make it a suitable alternative to ensure continuity in petrochemical exports and supply chain operations.
The company emphasized its commitment to cooperating with relevant authorities to minimize disruptions and assist in maintaining the country’s export flow while recovery efforts at Shahid Rajaee Port are underway.
