The monitoring system was launched to advance development projects and increase production in the oil fields of “Aban,” “Paydar Gharb,” “Cheshmeh-Khosh,” and “Paydar Sharq,” in the presence of the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company and the Russian ambassador to Iran.
According to the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company, the “Monitoring System” for the development and production enhancement projects of the oil fields “Aban,” “Paydar Gharb,” “Cheshmeh-Khosh,” “Dalpari,” and “Paydar Sharq” was officially inaugurated today (Wednesday, March 8) with the participation of Hamid Bourd, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company; Farokh Alikhani, Director of Production Supervision at the National Iranian Oil Company; Nasrollah Zarei, CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company; Alexey Dedov, Russian Ambassador to Tehran; and Azamat Ismagilov (Ismagilov Azamat Faritovich), CEO of “ZN Vostok.”
This advanced system, with its unique capabilities, plays a crucial role in optimizing and enhancing oil production efficiency.
During the ceremony, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company expressed gratitude to the Russian ambassador in Iran for attending the event and acknowledged the efforts of “ZN Vostok” in implementing the monitoring system. He emphasized the importance of introducing new technologies and applying this system in other oil fields across the country while stressing the necessity of securing data transmission via the internet. He also announced Iran’s readiness to expand oil cooperation with Russian companies.
As part of the event, the CEO personally activated the downhole pump of well No. 21 in the Aban oil field remotely using this system.
Key Features of the Monitoring System:
24/7 Production Well Monitoring:
This system enables real-time monitoring of production wells and downhole pumps. It allows immediate reporting of failures and facilitates rapid troubleshooting, particularly in border regions and wells with limited accessibility.
Real-Time Monitoring of Wastewater Disposal Wells:
The system continuously monitors wastewater disposal wells, providing necessary reports for planning remedial operations and improving injectivity.
Pipeline Pressure Monitoring:
The system offers real-time surveillance of pipeline pressures, detecting fluctuations, potential failures, and leaks in the shortest possible time for prompt corrective actions.
Processing Facility Monitoring:
The system monitors oil processing operations in real time, reporting any fluctuations, issues, or breakdowns. It also enables scheduled maintenance and repairs at optimal times.
Comprehensive Oil Production Overview:
This system provides a continuous and integrated view of the oil production process, allowing for the identification of issues and obstacles and facilitating strategic planning for their resolution.
The mentioned oil fields are located in the southwestern part of Ilam Province. The implementation of this monitoring system marks a significant step toward increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving production management in the country’s oil industry.
